We want you to feel confident subscribing to EdgeTape. This policy explains how trials, cancellations, and refunds work.
1. 7-day free trial
Every paid Edge subscription begins with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends and no payment is taken.
2. Cancellations
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription, which opens the Stripe billing portal. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be billed again.
- At the period end, your account drops back to the Free tier.
3. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly plans are non-refundable once billed. You can cancel to stop future renewals, but the current month is not prorated or refunded except where required by law.
4. Annual subscriptions — 14-day refund window
If you paid for an annual plan and are not satisfied, email hello@edgetapejournal.com within 14 days of the initial charge and we will refund the full amount. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable but you can cancel to prevent renewal.
5. Duplicate or accidental charges
If you were charged twice, charged after cancellation, or believe a charge is incorrect, email hello@edgetapejournal.com with the charge date and amount. We'll investigate and, if confirmed, refund the duplicate within 5 business days.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us first — most billing questions are resolved within one business day. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable consumer law (for example, EU/UK distance-selling rules). Where a statutory right applies, it takes precedence.
8. How refunds are returned
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Bank processing times vary but usually complete within 5–10 business days.
9. Contact
All refund requests: hello@edgetapejournal.com. Include the email on the account and the approximate charge date.
